Charlon Heston had died. Here is a Photo signed by him

Charlon Heston, autographed Photo

Charlton Heston with machine gun. Clear autograph.

b/w photo, Size: 3.5 x 5.5 inches, very fine condition.

Heston's star burned at its brightest when DeMille cast him as the stern Moses in the lavish The Ten Commandments (1956). From there, Heston went on to headline numerous spectaculars which provided him the opportunity to play every one from John the Baptist to Michelangelo to El Cid to General "Chinese" Gordon. In 1959, Heston won an Academy Award for the title role in William Wyler's Ben Hur. By the mid-1960s, the reign of the epic film passed and Heston began appearing in westerns (Will Penny) and epic war dramas (Midway). He also did sci-fi films, the most famous of which were the campy satire Planet of the Apes (1968), its sequel Beneath the Planet of the Apes (1970) and the cult favorite Soylent Green (1973). The '70s brought Heston into a new kind of epic, the disaster film, and he appeared in three, notably Airport 1975.

Heston served six terms as the president of the Screen Actors Guild and also chaired the American Film Institute. Active in such charities as The Will Rogers Institute, he was awarded the Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award at the 1977 Oscar ceremony. Known as a conservative Republican and proud member of the National Rifle Association, Heston worked closely with his long-time colleague and friend President Ronald Reagan as the leader of the president's task force on arts and the humanities.

Among his most enthusiastic critics is Michael Moore.

Marcel Prawy Autograph: Letter from 1968

1968: Letter by Dr. Marcel Prawy to Dr. Theo Cieplik. Dr. Prawy expresses his thanks for a letter by Dr. Cieplik and sends his warm greetings to the “Johann-Strauss-Orchestra” and Mr. Eduard Strauss. He states that he was very happy to read about the success they had.

The Autograph comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.

8,2 x 11,6 inches. Fine condition.

Marcel Horace Frydmann, Ritter von Prawy (born December 29, 1911 in Vienna - February 23, 2003 in Vienna) was an Austrian dramaturg, opera connoisseur and opera critic.

Prawy was born into a Jewish Austro-Hungarian noble family.

As secretary of the tenor Jan Kiepura, he emigrated to the USA when persecution of the Austrian Jews became unbearable in the late 1930s. With the help of his confidante Mártha Eggerth he became acquainted with American musicals and music in general. After the end of the Second World War, Prawy returned to Vienna and brought with him the musical Kiss Me, Kate. It was received by the Viennese with great reservation as they feared the arrival of the American-style musical would spell the end of the traditional Viennese operetta. Nonetheless, Prawy succeeded and was considered henceforth as the one who made German language musicals acceptable and popular.

Johannes Heesters Autograph, 1941

Johannes Heesters Autogramm aus der Zeit des 2. Weltkrieges.

Bavaria Filmkunst, Foto Bing, Ross Verlag Photo, 18 x 25 cm. Signiert zu Weihnachten 1941.

Gute Erhaltung. Das Autogramm kommt mit Echtheitszertifikat.
